Meet Us

Dr. Steven Denholtz graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1977. He completed a dental residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, in 1978, and has been in private practice since then. He routinely performs in Endodontics, Pedodontics, Orthodontics, Periodontics, Restorative dentistry, Implants, Cosmetic Dentistry, Prosthodontics and Oral Surgery.

He has a warm, personalized, and practical approach to each individual patient. Dr. Denholtz has taken numerous continuing education courses, uses modern technology in family practice, and has a special interest in "smile makeovers". He is passionate about helping fearful adults loose their fear, and treating people with chronic headaches.

He loves working with children, seniors, and "dental phobics". He was the 2nd dentist in the U.S. to use the NTI headache prevention device and has helped hundreds of people. He appeared on WNBC TV's  "Good Morning New York" as an expert on it. He achieved Diplomat status in the American Board of Forensic Dentistry. He has volunteered many years for community dentistry and lives close to the office. Outside of the office Dr. Denholtz enjoys music, boating, photography, technology & computers, scuba diving, travel, but most of all the company of his wife and three children.

Jennifer "keeps the office running". She personalizes patient visits by trying to know and help each person she meets. Whether it is helping to maximize your benefits or just remembering your kid's achievements, Jennifer is the heart of Dr. Denholtz's office. 

As one of the first licensed RDAs, Jennifer also earned her CDA from Middlesex County College, and a BS in Allied Health from Montclair State University. Jennifer also, taught Team Dentistry at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ for 7 years, and taught dental assisting at Morris County College. Jennifer loves to spend time with her family, loves animals and travel.
